Serene Archive began with a simple idea: remarkable art should not be forgotten.
Across museums, libraries and public collections are thousands of historic artworks that still feel deeply relevant today—quiet landscapes, expressive studies, delicate botanicals and works filled with atmosphere and character. Many of these pieces deserve to be seen beyond archive walls and brought into everyday spaces.
We created Serene Archive to thoughtfully reintroduce these artworks for contemporary homes.
Each piece is carefully researched and selected from public-domain or openly licensed collections. We review the available artwork information and image-use terms before preparing the work for high-quality reproduction as a museum-quality print.
Our collections are guided by feeling rather than trend. We look for art that brings warmth, stillness, curiosity and a sense of story into a room—pieces that can live with you for years rather than simply fill an empty wall.
Serene Archive does not claim to be the creator of these historic works. We honour the artists by presenting their names and stories clearly, while making their art more accessible to a new generation of collectors.
We believe a home should hold more than decoration. It should hold pieces that make you pause, look closer and feel something.
Historic art, thoughtfully reintroduced.
